ROTARY TRIMMER WITH MODULAR CONFIGURATIONS

BUBCO offers the Collard Modulmatic Rotary Trimmer - the world's most versatile and flexibly configured trimmer for vineyards and orchards.

The heart of the Modulmatic Trimmer is a lightweight aluminum extrusion that provides a rugged, rustproof and expandable framework for the cutting units.

The patented framework accommodates from 2 to 5 cutting units, giving you the flexibility to configure the trimmer for your specific application. And the modular design lets you change configurations whenever the need arises.

The master cutting unit is driven by a hydraulic system, with additional cutting units linked to the master by reinforced flat belts.

The cutting unit consists of a stainless steel blade and pulley with sealed, life-lubricated bearings for rugged, reliable no-maintenance operation. And you can choose between two different trimmer blades.

The aluminum framework starts with a standard element that accommodates up to 3 cutting units, and the modular design lets you extend the length and number of cutting units by adding additional elements.	BUBCO offers two blades for the Modulmatic. A stainless steel trimming blade (left) cuts up to 1/2 inch thick vines and limbs, is rustproof, self-cleaning, and never needs sharpening, while a circular saw blade (right) cuts vines and limbs up to 3 inches in thickness.

COUNTER-BLADE TRIMMER

BUBCO offers the Collard Hydromatic Rotary Trimmer with counter-blade shearing action for extremely clean cuts and reduced projection.

The cutting unit consists of a stainless steel blade and pulley with sealed, life- lubricated bearings for rugged, reliable no- maintenance operation. And you can choose between two different trimmer blades.

The Hydromatic Trimmer features 4 or 5 fixed blades and 2 rotary counter- blades operating at about 400 rpm. Low- speed, rotating blades and fixed blades create a shearing action, producing an extremely clean cut with reduced branch or vine projection. The blades are made of a steel alloy and do not wear, nor do they require sharpening under normal use. The blades are driven by a rugged and reliable hydraulic motor that is started, stopped, and speed- controlled by means of a flow regulator. The regulator is manually or electrically controlled, depending on the model.

The Hydromatic’s cutting element (below) has 4 or 5 fixed blades (grey) and 2 counter- rotating blades (red) that create a shearing action for cleaner cuts with reduced branch or vine projection.

RECIPROCATING TRIMMER

BUBCO offers the Acampo Trimmer with reciprocating operation, heavy- duty construction, and at a very attractive price.

The Acampo Trimmer combines a compact size with heavy- duty construction for durability, making it ideal for both small and large acreage use.

Trimmer blade adjustment is quick and easy, and has the flexibility to handle a wide range of row widths and column heights.

Variable angle adjustment accommodates a high, horizontal setup for tipping vertical shoot trellis systems, or a low, diagonal setup for skirting.

The trimmer uses common sickle knife parts, so replacement elements are available at most hardware stores.

And the Acampo Trimmer is available at a very attractive price.

HEDGE TRIMMER

BUBCO offers the Collard line of hedge trimmers for landscaping, public works, and commercial maintenance.

The Collard line of hedge trimmers features 3 to 7 blade configurations, with 400, 500 and 600mm blade diameters to match your specific application.

The hedge trimmers can be fitted with circular- saw blades for dry cutting or flail plates for green cutting. Blades can be changed quickly for different hedge conditions, and intermixed for hybrid applications. And the blade rotation reverser makes it easy to clear plant cuttings from the blades.

The trimmers can be fitted to a variety of vehicles and platforms, and they can be operated from a vehicle’s hydraulic system or an optional power supply.

The Collard Hedge Trimmer shown here can be attached to a vehicle by means of a standard 3- point system. It is equipped with 3 flail blades for green trimming, and is operated by hydraulic controls.
